Accept all, reject all, or choose by category. This page lists everything the site can store in your browser, and what turns each one on.
We use strictly necessary device storage without consent for your cookie choice, a form-abuse marker, a staff sign-in cookie and, while you complete an application, a temporary browser draft. We store analytics items only if you allow that category.
The notice on every page lets you accept all, reject all or choose among four categories: strictly necessary, functional, analytics and advertising.
Strictly necessary, whether or not you accept:
alamiyah-cookie-notice is held in local storage, not as a cookie. It records the notice version, the time and your choice for each category. It stays until you clear this site's data or we replace the notice version.
alamiyah-fingerprint is a cookie that limits repeated form submissions from one browser. It lasts 365 days.
alamiyah_admin_session signs staff into the editing area. It lasts until they sign out and is never set during an ordinary visit.
alamiyah:application-draft:v1 is held in session storage, not as a cookie. While you complete an application, it keeps a draft of your answers for up to 24 hours. The draft never includes your child's name, date of birth or home address. The draft does not include the automated abuse check or hidden anti-spam field. It is cleared after payment is verified or when you choose Start over.
alamiyah:give-draft:v1 is held in session storage, not as a cookie. When you continue to Checkout, it keeps your donation type and amount, your name and email address, any Gift Aid declaration and home address, and any message so the form is still filled in if you return from a cancelled Checkout. It is cleared on the thank-you page or when you close the tab.
Analytics, only if you allow that category:
Umami counts page views and referrers. We host it ourselves. It uses no cookies and stores nothing on your device.
Google Analytics 4 uses cookies to count visits and recognise returning browsers. They last up to two years.
Microsoft Clarity uses cookies and records scrolling, mouse movement and clicks so we can identify confusing pages. Its cookies last up to one year.
We currently set nothing in the functional or advertising categories. If that changes, we will update this page and ask everyone to choose again.
Use Cookie preferences in any page footer to change your choices. Withdrawing analytics consent stops further recording. To remove cookies already on your device, clear this site's data in your browser settings.
Contact us if you have questions. Our privacy notice explains how we use the information collected through this site.
If anything in this policy raises a question, please get in touch and we will talk it through with you.
