Follow the nursery day through uninterrupted Montessori work, time outdoors, lunch and afternoon activities.
A long morning work cycle Between 09:00 and 11:30 children choose, repeat and complete purposeful activity without a group interruption.
A different activity each afternoon Families choose the afternoons they need. Each slot covers every occurrence of that weekday and follows the morning work cycle.
Children are welcomed at the door, exchange salaam and put away their shoes.
Uninterrupted choice across Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Mathematics, Cultural, Arabic and Qur'an.
A shared story, song, seerah or du'a.
Digging, watering, climbing and running. Morning children are collected at 1.00pm.
Children lay the table, pour water and clear away. Packed lunches come from home, and the nursery is nut free.
The activity chosen for that weekday.
A final story together, followed by collection.
Children move freely between carefully sequenced materials. The pink tower's ten cubes make differences in size visible. Sandpaper letters connect sound, shape and movement, while English and Arabic moveable alphabets support early word building.
The guide watches closely and presents new work when a child is ready. Wudu and salah, the five daily prayers, are part of Practical Life, with real water, a small ewer and a low basin. Children pray with the guides and join in as they become ready.
Lunch is part of Practical Life. Children lay the table, pour water and clear their places. Packed lunches come from home, and the nursery is nut free.
Each weekday has its own afternoon activity:
The nursery closes on Fridays so staff can observe, plan, prepare and restore the environment for Monday. Read an essay on the prepared environment to learn why uninterrupted work matters. Monday, Drumming and singing; Tuesday, PE and yoga; Wednesday, Storytelling; Thursday, Arts and crafts.
Morning children are collected at 13:00, after the outdoor stretch. Full-day children stay for lunch and the afternoon activity, then are collected at 15:30.
Pack a named bag with indoor shoes, spare clothes, a seasonal hat and a refillable water bottle. Full-day children also need a packed lunch in a named container. The setting is nut free. Aprons, art materials and crockery are provided, while toys stay at home.
Settling is gradual. Children begin with shorter sessions, an unhurried handover and a predictable routine. The same calm environment and familiar guides greet them each morning, and we adjust the pace with you.
