Alamiyah Home Education Centre is for home-educated children aged 7 to 11. Children have time for uninterrupted work, friendship and shared discovery.
Children find focused work, friendship across mixed ages and skilled adults who notice where support will help.
Alamiyah Home Education Centre supports your family's home education as one of the provisions you choose for your child.
Each morning runs from 09:00 to 13:00, with attendance of up to 16 hours a week.
The door opens at 09:00. Children exchange salaam, settle in and choose purposeful work. Mixed ages across the 7 to 11 years range allow younger members to learn from older ones and older members to deepen understanding by explaining.
Bushra Ajmal supports children on Mondays and Tuesdays, Shaista Kasmani on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and Nasima Bobat supports English. Together the adults support Mathematics, English, Science in a Montessori-informed environment.
Children restore the room together and are collected at 13:00. The centre supports your home education, while your family shapes the wider week.
Children choose purposeful work, receive concise presentations and carry ideas forward independently. Salah, wudu and adab are part of the shared morning.
Iman opens children to the signs of Allah across creation.
Islam brings worship and purposeful structure into daily life.
Ihsan nurtures sincerity, awareness and beautiful conduct.

Alamiyah Home Education Centre does not provide placements for children with an Education, Health and Care Plan. A family holding an EHCP needs a registered setting that can be named on the plan, and we are not one.
“Mornings at the centre sit within a week your family shapes through work at home, co-op days, community activity, outings and specialist support.”
Children work with members across a four-year age span, and siblings often attend on the same mornings. Families come from Dagenham, Barking and the Essex borders, creating a broad home-education community.
Most children settle gradually over their first few weeks. A calm routine, meaningful work and consistent adults help them find focus and confidence at their own pace.
Yes. Your child remains home educated. Alamiyah Home Education Centre supports your home education as one of the provisions you arrange; it does not replace it.
